Expert visiting eurythmist and reflex specialist Susanne Zipperlen is back again this month: A eurythmist with many years experience both locally and overseas supporting children and their families, she has started helping families in our community and is making a difference with her unique skill set.
Experiences from families:
“A week after trying out the exercises Susanne recommended, my retained reflex has actually gone… Faster results than I expected! Susanne also noticed I had some issues sense of balance and the way I use my eyes, and these exercises are also helping me with my motion-sensitivity!” - Anna (45)
“I loved watching our boys engaging with the story and the earnest striving they showed in following Susanne’s actions. They have expressed their enjoyment, saying they liked it more than they expected! I was so sad when we needed to a miss a session; it’s a point in the month I really look forward to!” - Raechel (mum of 3)
“It was really fascinating learning how to embody sound - move with the noise, and how we intuitively sense the appropriate motion (or close to it) that goes with each sound. It was a fun exercise and really interesting also learning about retained reflexes and also about how to correct dental issue without intrusion.” - Carol (mum of 3)

What is Eurythmy?
Eurythmy is a movement art within Steiner or Waldorf schools, often used therapeutically and also within everyday education. We are lucky enough to have Susanne as a Northland local: She is an accomplished Eurythmist experienced in therapeutic modalities. She also can support with developmental reflex work as well as non-invasive support for your child’s teeth. There is no-one else with Susanne’s unique set of skills and offerings in Aotearoa!
Susanne is kindly offering us adult eurythmy, child/parent eurythmy and parent education sessions one Saturday per month for the remainder of this year.
The more regularly you can do eurythmy, the more you'll see and feel the benefits!
